Farmhouse Conversion Completed in Northumberland

Today marks the finish of a project we’ve been proud to deliver from the first strip-out to the final fix. The last of the rainwater goods went in this morning, which means this Northumberland farmhouse conversion is officially complete.

The building blends traditional stonework with a crisp, modern VM Zinc roof. The standing seam finish sits naturally in the landscape, bringing a clean architectural line without losing the character of the original setting. Its mix of materials, slim-profile windows and sharp detailing gives the old farmhouse a fresh identity while still feeling rooted in its surroundings.

It’s been a rewarding one to see through. Every stage came with its own challenges, but the end result is a solid example of how contemporary design can work alongside rural architecture without overpowering it.
